The mission of the Association is “to be a unified voice providing opportunities for Hawaii and the Outer Pacific children and families of low-income to grow and thrive in an ever-changing world.”
To this end, the Association is organized:
- To facilitate the sharing of information, ideas, philosophies, skills and strategies among members of the Association;
- To identify and act upon issues of common concern;
- To advocate in a unified manner on behalf of member programs and young children and their families in Hawaii and the Outer Pacific;
- To promote linkages with other organizations and individuals concerned with the well-being of young children and families; and
- To promote comprehensive child development and family services for Hawaii and the Outer Pacific's families.
